Duncan's Run Hundred joins International Trail Running Association

Duncan's Run Hundred has joined the International Trail Running Association. The nearly formed I-TRA brings together trail running race organisers from all around the world to share ideas, improve the standard of events and share the trail running message around the world. A calendar of I-TRA races can be found here. They also have a standard race course evaluation to enable comparison of different courses. This evaluation process is now necessary to become a qualifier race for the North Face Ultra Tour Du Mont Blanc- the predominate trail running race in the World. Duncan's Run Hundred Full course has been evaluated and now counts for 3 points towards qualifying for the 2015 or 2016 UTMB.

The 2014 UTMB is currently running in Chamomix, France. There are 5 different races over the space of one week with the 160km event being the most famous. Check out the live coverage on now at http://www.ultratrail.tv/en#.VAEeDaJdaSM
